Smugglers pie and ale festival 2019!
The Smugglers Den Inn opposite the campsite will be hosting their annual pie and ale festival again this year over the first May bank holiday, 3rd – 6th May.
They are yet to release too many details but you can expect plenty of ales (usually around 70 -80!), a selection of ciders, pies a plenty and lots of live music. Keep an eye on their website for updates – www.smugglersden.co.uk
Trebellan is usually a tranquil place to be but this weekend the atmosphere is a little different! We will be very busy and the live music will go on until late. If its your sort of thing its fun but if not any other weekend we will be our usual peaceful selves.
Festival prices
The ale festival has grown and grown in popularity so this year we are doing our best to limit numbers to try to ensure continued enjoyment. This has meant a change in the way we price the festival and also a few other measures to prevent those that aren’t willing to pay from entering the site.
Prices per night for those that book in advance will be:
Adults (16+ yrs) – £10.00
Children (3 – 15 yrs) – £6.00
Electric hook up – £6.00
Dogs – £2.50
To book a pitch just select the book now option at the top of our homepage and click on download booking form below the enquiry form. You will then be able to print off a booking form. Just complete the form and send it to us along with a deposit of £50.00 or the full amount if that is less. If you need a form posting out please let us know.
Prices for people turning up on the day:
Adults (16+yrs) – £15.00
Children (3 -15 yrs) – £10.00
Electric hook up and dogs charged as above.
Please note that once we are full we are full and we cannot guarantee you a pitch if you haven’t booked.
Few new regulations
When you arrive you must come to reception to be shown in even if you are fully paid up. You will then be issued with wristbands for everyone in your group and a ticket for your tent/caravan/camper.
Gates to the campsite will be locked at 8pm and opened at 7am. If you need access between these times please contact a member of staff.
Please arrange to meet family and friends not staying onsite in the beer festival itself and please don’t invite people back. Anyone found to have not paid for their stay will be asked to leave.
It is a family festival so please enjoy it but remember that once the music in the beer tent has stopped its time to go to sleep, there’s a whole other day tomorrow!
