Opening dates and facilities 2021.
Fishing lakes –
The fishing lakes will be opening to all on Monday 29th March. Please do not bring family/friends with you to sit on the banks and please keep 2m apart whilst covid restrictions are in place.
Holiday accommodation –
Our holiday lets will be open from Monday 12th April.. We are looking to be extremely busy this year so please get in early if you wish to book. The shared facilities onsite are not allowed to open until at least 17th May, we are not certain at this time if this includes the launderette but otherwise this restriction should not affect your stay.
Campsite –
The campsite will be open from Saturday 24th April. The earliest the shared facilities can open is Monday 17th May so up until this date you will need your own washing and toilet facilities to stay here. As we all know regulations are subject to change so please keep checking with us as to whether or not this date has changed. Anyone booked in will be notified of any changes by us.
The Smugglers Den Inn –
The landlord of the pub has decided not to open its doors until indoor dining and drinking is allowed, therefore, the pub is set to open around 17th May. It may be later that week but it should be open in time for the weekend at the end of that week. Any queries please check with them – 01637 830209.
Swimming Pool –
The pool is set to open at its normal time of the year – in time for Whitsun half term week.
The season is looking to be a very busy one and we are already fully booked for many dates so please get in soon if you are wanting to book.
If you are coming to Cornwall this summer please be patient as for most people it will be their first time out in a busy place and they may be nervous, including staff. Staff will have alot of people to deal with whilst at the same time trying to keep their distance in the hope of preventing another spike. Restrictions may be off in June but people will still be cautious and therefore things may take a little longer.
Sit back and enjoy the “dreckly” lifestyle!
